VAMP724 and VAMP726 are involved in autophagosome formation in Arabidopsis thaliana

Summary: This study identified and characterized two Arabidopsis SNAREs, AT4G15780/VAMP724 and AT1G04760/VAMP726, involved in plant autophagy. Phenotypic analysis showed that mutants of VAMP724 and VAMP726 are sensitive to nutrient-starved conditions. Further experiments demonstrated that VAMP724 and VAMP726 regulate autophagosome formation likely working together with ATG9 in Arabidopsis.

Relationships between blood and follicular fluid urea nitrogen concentrations and between blood urea nitrogen and embryo survival in mares

Summary: High BUN concentrations were related to low fertility in cows and ewes, but the same relationship had not been reported in mares. The study found a strong positive correlation between BUN and FUN during follicle growth, as well as an impact of donor mare BUN on pregnancy outcomes in recipient mares. Older donor mares with higher BUN levels were associated with unsuccessful embryo production, highlighting the importance of BUN levels in the follicular fluid environment and embryo survival.
