Hierarchical N-doped CNTs grafted onto MOF-derived porous carbon nanomaterials for efficient oxygen reduction

Yuanyuan Guo et al.

Summary: The rational design and preparation of hierarchically porous N-doped carbon nanotubes grafted onto zinc-based coordination polymer derived carbon nanomaterials for efficient oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) catalysis is proposed in this study. The Fe-NCNT catalyst exhibits optimal ORR activity with high onset potential, half-wave potential, and diffusion-limited current density, showcasing potential for high-performance Zn-air batteries. This method demonstrates a new route for the facile construction of efficient nanocatalysts for advanced energy applications.

Conductive epoxidized natural rubber nanocomposite with mechanical and electrical performance boosted by hybrid network structures

Subhan Salaeh et al.

Summary: The mechanical and electrical properties of reinforced conductive elastomers can be improved by incorporating hybrid nanostructures of multiwalled carbon nanotubes and few-layer graphene nanofillers. The addition of both fillers enhances the tensile strength and reduces the electrical percolation threshold, making it a highly promising material for smart rubber applications.

Preparation of sodium hyaluronate/dopamine/AgNPs hydrogel based on the natural eutetic solvent as an antibaterial wound dressing

Wen Li et al.

Summary: Based on previous research, the natural deep eutectic solvent (DES) shows potential for fabricating hydrogel wound dressing due to its outstanding properties. In this study, a novel hydrogel wound dressing, DES-DASH@Ag, was developed using SH and DES, which demonstrated good cytocompatibility and antibacterial effect. The hydrogel also promoted skin tissue regeneration in mouse wound areas, suggesting its promise as a wound dressing in modern medicine.
