Quality of life of older adults and associated factors in Ghanaian urban slums: a cross-sectional study

Summary: This study provides insights into the quality of life (QoL) of older adults living in urban slums in Ghana. The findings show that older adults in slums have moderate psychological, social, and environmental QoL, but poor physical QoL. Gender and living arrangements have an impact on QoL, with male participants and those living with extended family having higher QoL scores. Environmental factors have the strongest influence on overall QoL, followed by psychological, physical, and social domains.
