Visual and Patient-Reported Outcomes of a Diffractive Trifocal Intraocular Lens Compared with Those of a Monofocal Intraocular Lens

Satish Modi et al.

Summary: The study demonstrated that the trifocal intraocular lens TFNT00 showed superior performance in distance and near visual acuity compared to the monofocal lens SN60AT, with a higher proportion of patients achieving spectacle independence. Although some visual disturbances were reported with TFNT00, less than 5% of patients were significantly bothered by these symptoms at 6 months post-surgery.
