High-precision measurement of the W boson mass with the CDF II detector

T. Aaltonen et al.

Summary: This study measured the mass of the W boson and compared it with the expectation of the standard model of particle physics. The results show a significant discrepancy between the measured value and the expectation.

Search for charged Higgs bosons produced in vector boson fusion processes and decaying into vector boson pairs in proton-proton collisions at √s=13 TeV

A. M. Sirunyan et al.

Summary: The study reported the search for charged Higgs bosons produced in vector boson fusion processes in LHC, based on data collected with CMS detector in proton-proton collisions at 13 TeV center-of-mass energy and 137 fb(-1) integrated luminosity. Upper limits at 95% confidence level are reported on the product of the cross section and branching fraction for vector boson fusion production of charged Higgs bosons as a function of mass.

Obscure Higgs boson at colliders

Priyotosh Bandyopadhyay et al.

Summary: The study considers an extension of the Standard Model with a complex hypercharge zero triplet scalar, where one of the charged Higgs bosons remains purely triplet and suitable as a dark matter candidate. The pure triplet charged Higgs leads to displaced signatures and its sensitivity has been studied at LHC and MATHUSLA. The prospects of such exotic scalars at present and future hadron/muon colliders have been explored by calculating their production cross section and dominant decay modes.
