Influence of Parameters of Optical Fibers on Optical Soliton Interactions

Qin Zhou

Summary: The interaction between optical solitons plays a crucial role in studying the interaction between light and matter, as well as the development of all-optical devices and the design of integrated optical paths. This study investigates the interaction of optical solitons based on the nonlinear Schrodinger equation, aiming to improve communication quality and system integration. By deriving solutions to the equation, the interaction of two solitons is analyzed, and suggestions are proposed to weaken their interactions.

Solitary waves described by a high-order system in optical fiber Bragg gratings with arbitrary refractive index

Kristina Kan et al.

Summary: A system of fourth-order nonlinear differential equations for wave propagation in optical fiber Bragg gratings is considered, taking into account arbitrary refractive index and non-local nonlinearity. The system is transformed into ordinary differential equations using traveling wave variables, and compatibility conditions for the system are defined and analyzed. Exact solutions in the form of solitary waves are found.

Effective amplification of optical solitons in high power transmission systems

Qin Zhou et al.

Summary: This study focuses on the effective amplification of optical solitons in high-power transmission systems using a nonlinear Schrodinger equation. Three soliton solutions are analytically constructed and their interaction characteristics are analyzed. The study also examines the influence of parallel and nonparallel propagation on soliton amplification. The findings contribute to improving the transmission distance of optical solitons in high-power transmission systems.

New soliton wave structures of nonlinear (4

Shahzad Sarwar

Summary: The physics of the (4+1)-dimensional Fokas equation is derived from the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili and Davey-Stewartson equations in wave theory. This article introduces two recognizable methods to investigate new wave structures of the (4+1)-dimensional Fokas dynamical model, resulting in new solutions such as dark solitons, bright solitons, combined dark-bright soliton solutions, periodic and solitary wave solutions. The achieved results show that the methods proposed in this article are simple, effective, and can be easily applied to find solutions for other nonlinear higher-dimensional models.

Stability of moving Bragg solitons in a semilinear coupled system with cubic-quintic nonlinearity

Md. Jahirul Islam et al.

Summary: The investigation reveals the existence of three distinct bandgaps in the model, with two disjoint soliton families existing only within these bandgaps and separated by a boundary where no soliton solutions exist. The numerical stability analysis shows that one type of solitons is stable in vast regions within the bandgaps, while the other type is always unstable. The effects of system parameters on the stability of solitons, such as group velocity mismatch and coupling coefficient, are analyzed.

A (2+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation with competing dispersion effect: Painleve analysis, dynamical behavior and invariant solutions

Sandeep Malik et al.

Summary: This paper focuses on the integrability of the nonlinear Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation with a competing dispersion effect. The governing equation is examined through Painleve analysis and simplified using Lie symmetry analysis, leading to the derivation of soliton solutions. The stability of the corresponding dynamical system is investigated using phase plane theory, with graphical representations of solitons and phase portraits generated using Maple software.

Invariant solutions and bifurcation analysis of the nonlinear transmission line model

Sachin Kumar

Summary: This paper investigates the nonlinear transmission line model with power law nonlinearity and constant capacitance and voltage relationship using Lie symmetry analysis. Abelian and non-abelian Lie subalgebras are obtained based on the infinitesimals obtained, and a one-dimensional optimal system of subalgebra is presented using the adjoint table. Various new similarity solutions in the form of trigonometric functions, hyperbolic functions, are obtained. Through bifurcation analysis, stable and unstable regions are determined, showing the existence of soliton solutions.
