Aperiodic perforated graphene in optical nanocavity absorbers

Samina Bidmeshkipour et al.

Summary: Aperiodic perforated graphene layers synthesized through oxygen plasma etching have been utilized in fabricating optical nanocavity absorbers with significantly improved absorption properties. The study reveals that the absorption performance of the nanocavity heavily relies on the electrical interaction between the nanopores of the perforated graphene layer and incident light. This graphene-based nanocavity resonator shows potential for designing highly efficient electromagnetic wave absorbers with effective optical absorption features in demanding two-dimensional coatings.

Super-resolution far-field sub-wavelength imaging using multiple holography

Pooria Salami et al.

Summary: A holography-based far-field imaging technique is proposed in this paper to achieve super-resolution images beyond the diffraction limit. Increasing the number of reconstruction steps can improve the resolution, and numerical validation shows that a resolution of 1/14 of the working wavelength can be achieved through two reconstruction steps.

A waveguide metasurface based quasi-far-field transverse-electric superlens

Yechuan Zhu et al.

Summary: This paper introduces a waveguide metasurface-based superlens with extraordinary quasi-far-field focusing capability, which can break the diffraction limit of traditional lenses and achieve light focusing at the nanoscale. Experimental results demonstrate that the fabricated superlens shows a focus spot of 98 nm under 405 nm illumination, promising applications in nanolithography and ultra-small optoelectronic devices.
