Tuning plasmonic nanostructures in graphene-based nano-sandwiches using ultraviolet/ozone functionalization

Dai Zhang et al.

Summary: The study successfully synthesized gold nanoparticles/reduced graphene oxide/gold plasmonic nano-sandwiches using a UV/ozone-assisted approach with easy and fine tunability. By varying the functionalization time, high loading density of gold nanoparticles was achieved, leading to potential applications in surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy.

Graphene assisted crystallization and charge extraction for efficient and stable perovskite solar cells free of a hole-transport layer

Ahmed Esmail Shalan et al.

Summary: Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have gained significant attention in recent years for their high power conversion efficiency (PCE), with research focusing on overcoming challenges such as upscaling and commercialization. Incorporating stable graphene materials into the electron transfer layer has shown promising results in enhancing both stability and efficiency of PSCs, even in the absence of a hole transport layer (HTL).
