Rapid versus slow withdrawal of antiepileptic monotherapy in two-year seizure-free adults patients with epilepsy (RASLOW) study: A pragmatic multicentre, prospective, randomized, controlled study

Edoardo Ferlazzo et al.

Summary: The study aims to compare the relapse rates of seizure-free adults with epilepsy who underwent slow or rapid withdrawal of antiepileptic monotherapy, and to analyze the severity of relapses and associated complications. The results show that the relapse rate after drug discontinuation is low and unrelated to the tapering duration.
