Evidence-based management of multiple sclerosis spasticity with nabiximols oromucosal spray in clinical practice: a 10-year recap

Andrew Chan et al.

Summary: Effective symptomatic management of multiple sclerosis spasticity remains an unmet need for many patients. The noninvasive antispasticity medication nabiximols has shown promise in providing clinically meaningful and durable improvement in MS spasticity. Clinical evidence accumulated over 10 years of routine use suggests that nabiximols is safe and can provide relief for symptoms beyond muscle tone control. It contains THC and CBD from the cannabis plant and has been shown to improve spasticity-related symptoms such as pain and disrupted sleep.

Association Between Finger-to-Nose Kinematics and Upper Extremity Motor Function in Subacute Stroke: A Principal Component Analysis

Ze-Jian Chen et al.

Summary: The study revealed that kinematic components during the finger-to-nose test are associated with upper extremity motor function in subacute stroke survivors. Three principal components, accounting for 91.3% variance, include metrics such as mean velocity, peak velocity, number of movement units, and normalized integrated jerk.
