Encryption of ECG signals for telemedicine applications

Summary: This paper focuses on ECG signal encryption for security applications using three cryptosystems that fuse ECG signals with other masking signals. By operating on sample values of the ECG signal, these cryptosystems save time and are more immune to noise and hacking scenarios compared to traditional encoding and decoding schemes. Experimental results demonstrate that utilizing more levels of encryption increases security.

Exponential Chaotic Model for Generating Robust Chaos

Summary: This article introduces a new chaotic system with robust chaos to overcome the issue of chaos disappearance caused by parameter disturbance in practical applications. By introducing the exponential chaotic model (ECM), nine one-dimensional chaotic maps with robust chaos were generated and tested for secure communication. Simulation results showed superior performance against various channel noise during data transmission.
