Intense mechanoluminescence, thermoluminescence and photoluminescence in Pr3+ doped K0.02Na0.98NbO3 ferroelectric phosphor

Summary: In this study, a volatile ferroelectric material K0.02Na0.98NbO3 was selected as the host, and Pr3+ ions were doped to achieve elastic mechanoluminescence (EML). By adjusting the concentration of Pr3+, a ferroelectric material with high ML intensity was obtained. The defect level of K0.02Na0.98NbO3: xPr(3+ ) phosphors was investigated using thermoluminescence (TL) curve.
