Enhancing the stability of perovskite quantum dots CsPbX3 (X=Cl, Br, I) by encapsulation in porous Y2O3 nanoparticles for WLED applications

Xinke Li et al.

Summary: In this study, stability enhancement of multiple all-inorganic lead halide perovskites was successfully achieved by using nanosized Y2O3 nanoparticles. The prepared WLED based on CsPbBrI2/P-Y2O3 composite exhibited a high luminous efficiency of 61 lm/W and a color render index of 83, indicating its potential for lighting and display technologies.

Multifunctionality of lanthanide-based luminescent hybrid materials

Akhilesh Kumar Singh

Summary: Lanthanide-based luminescent hybrid materials, which consist of organic moieties as sensitizers and inorganic lanthanide ions as activators, have been extensively studied in fields such as sensing, LEDs, security inks, bioimaging, and improving the stability/efficiency of halide perovskite-based optoelectronic devices. Recent developments include near-infrared dye-sensitized hybrid upconverting materials and the use of lanthanide-based hybrid materials to enhance the stability and efficiency of halide perovskite optoelectronic devices.

Flexible hybrid perovskite nanofiber for all-inorganic perovskite solar cells

Lei Ning et al.

Summary: Flexible one-dimensional perovskite nanofiber membranes can serve as potential candidates for the next generation of solar cells, with their excellent flexibility and high efficiency. By adjusting the concentration of PbBr2, the size of perovskite nanocrystals and the efficiency of solar cells can be controlled. This research contributes to the further application and development of perovskite nanofiber structures.

Ion exchange derived CsPbBr3:Mn nanocrystals with stable and bright luminescence towards white light-emitting diodes

Yanping Liu et al.

Summary: In this study, CsPbBr3:Mn nanocrystals were synthesized via a hot injection method. It was found that Mn doping can enhance the photoluminescence efficiency and stability of the nanocrystals. Anion exchange reaction using benzoyl chloride resulted in bright Mn ion orange emission. White light-emitting diodes (LED) with high performance were created using CsPbBr3:Mn nanocrystals.

Invisible luminescent inks and luminescent films based on lanthanides for anti-counterfeiting

Jingfang Li et al.

Summary: The development of aqueous luminescent anti-counterfeiting materials and high-level anti-counterfeiting strategies remains a great challenge. Luminescent inks and films prepared by the coordination between hyaluronic acid and lanthanides showed potential for anti-counterfeiting applications. Furthermore, the use of multiple information encryption strategies enhances the level of anti-counterfeiting security.
