Efficient sonophotocatalytic degradation of acid blue 113 dye using a hybrid nanocomposite of CoFe2O4 nanoparticles loaded on multi-walled carbon nanotubes

Facile synthesis of Fe3O4/ZnO/GO photocatalysts for decolorization of acid blue 113 under solar, visible and UV lights

Summary: The Fe3O4/ZnO/GO magnetic photocatalyst was successfully synthesized and showed significant photocatalytic activity in the degradation of acid blue 113 dye under visible light. The synthesized catalyst maintained its efficiency after multiple recycling runs due to its magnetization. UV radiation for 50 minutes resulted in complete removal of the dye, while visible radiation achieved complete removal in 120 minutes.
