Hadron-Induced Radiation Damage in LuAG:Ce Scintillating Ceramics

Chen Hu et al.

Summary: LuAG:Ce ceramic scintillators have great potential in high-energy physics due to their low cost, bright light, and fast decay time. This study investigates the optical and scintillation performance of LuAG:Ce ceramic samples co-doped with Mg2+ and Ca2+, as well as their radiation damage induced by neutrons and protons. The results show that LuAG:Ce ceramic samples have excellent radiation hardness and lower radiation damage compared to LYSO:Ce crystals.

Efficient spectral regulation in Ce:Lu3(Al,Cr)5O12 and Ce:Lu3(Al,Cr)5O12/Ce:Y3Al5O12 transparent ceramics with high color rendering index for high-power white LEDs/LDs

Tianyuan Zhou et al.

Summary: Ce,Cr:LuAG TCs achieved efficient spectral regulation through Cr3+ doping, enhancing their luminescence properties in white LED/LD applications. By combining with other materials, such as 0.5 at% Ce:YAG TC, even better results were obtained in terms of CRI values for TC based white LEDs and LDs.

Fine-grained Ce,Y:SrHfO3 Scintillation Ceramics Fabricated by Hot Isostatic Pressing

Zhu Danyang et al.

Summary: Ce,Y:SrHfO3 ceramics were prepared by different methods in this study, and ceramics with good optical transparency were obtained using a two-step sintering method. The influence of pre-sintering temperature on the density, microstructure, and optical transparency of Ce,Y:SrHfO3 ceramics was studied under vacuum conditions.
