Enhanced recovery after abdominal wall reconstruction: a systematic review and meta-analysis

Summary: This systematic review and meta-analysis found that the use of ERAS protocols in patients undergoing abdominal wall reconstruction significantly reduced length of stay without increasing readmission rate or surgical site infection/surgical site occurrences. Based on these findings, ERAS protocols should be implemented for patients undergoing abdominal wall reconstruction.
