Optimizing remote ischemic conditioning (RIC) of cutaneous microcirculation in humans: Number of cycles and duration of acute effects

Summary: This study aimed to optimize the RIC protocol by examining the effect of different cycle numbers on cutaneous microcirculation. The results showed that RIC caused significant and sustained changes in microcirculation, with a dose-dependent effect likely present. However, a higher number of cycles led to significantly higher levels of pain.
