Statistical stability and linear response for random hyperbolic dynamics

Davor Dragicevic et al.

Summary: In this study, families of random products of close-by Anosov diffeomorphisms were considered, and it was shown that statistical stability and linear response hold for the associated families of equivariant and stationary measures. The analysis relied on the study of the top Oseledets space of a parametrized transfer operator cocycle and ad-hoc abstract perturbation statements. Additionally, it was demonstrated that the variance in the quenched central limit theorem depends differentiably on the parameter under certain conditions ensuring linear response for the cocycle.

Regularity of Characteristic Exponents and Linear Response for Transfer Operator Cocycles

Julien Sedro et al.

Summary: In this study, cocycles obtained by composing sequences of transfer operators with positive weights associated with uniformly expanding maps were analyzed. It was shown that when the sequence is picked within a certain uniform family, the top characteristic exponent and generator of the top Oseledets space of the cocycle exhibit regularity in parameters. Applications include deriving a linear response formula for the equivariant measure associated with random products of uniformly expanding maps, as well as studying the regularity of the Hausdorff dimension of a repeller associated with random compositions of one-dimensional cookie-cutters.
