Electrochemical Deposition of Lead for Water Quality Sensing

Summary: To address the need for timely and onsite monitoring of lead in drinking water, a four-electrode system was designed to detect the presence of lead. By studying the deposition mechanism of lead on the sensor, the detection time and reliability of the sensor were improved and reduced.

Summary: In this study, a novel disposable flexible and screen-printed electrochemical aptamer-based sensor was proposed for the rapid detection of chlorpyrifos. The sensor was optimized using various characterization procedures and its selectivity and sample stability were assessed. The sensor was tested on banana and grape extracts, showing potential application in the food industry.

Polyethyleneimine-Functionalized Carbon Nanotube/Graphene Oxide Composite: A Novel Sensing Platform for Pb(II) Acetate in Aqueous Solution

Summary: A sensing platform sensor was developed for the selective detection of lead(II) acetate, using a graphene-based nanostructure and three electrochemical methods to achieve a detection limit of 36 pmol/L and sensitivity of 4.3 mu AL/mu mol with excellent repeatability. The mechanism of detection was attributed to the high affinity of heavy metal ions with functional groups in the PEI-CNTs and GO.
