First-principles investigation of Cs-NF3 co-adsorption on GaAs(100)-β2(2 x 4) surface

Jingzhi Zhang et al.

Summary: The adsorption mechanism of Cs-NF3 on the GaAs(1 0 0)-beta 2(2 x 4) reconstructed surface was studied using first-principles method. The vertical layered direction significantly affects surface properties, with Cs-up models showing lower adsorption energy and stronger dipole moment. T4 was found to be the energy-preferred position for adsorption in Cs-up models.
