Kudzu Resistant Starch: An Effective Regulator of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Xinqi Song et al.

Summary: Kudzu resistant starch can significantly improve blood glucose and lipid levels in T2DM mice, enhance insulin synthesis efficiency, and improve gut microbiota dysbiosis. This indicates that Kudzu resistant starch holds promise as an effective prebiotic and has positive effects on the gut microbiota structure in T2DM mice.

Discovery of potential pharmacodynamic ingredients of Dang-Gui-Si-Ni decoction based on absorbed ingredients and molecular docking

Yun Li et al.

Summary: This study aimed to quickly identify potential pharmacodynamic ingredients (PPIs) of DGSN decoction using a multi-dimensional qualitative analysis method. Results revealed 31 compounds identified in the decoction, with 22 compounds absorbed in vivo and 10 compounds detected in portal vein blood. In vitro molecular docking experiments showed 7 compounds exhibited better binding activity with coagulation factors, supporting the PPIs.
