Calibration of organic-diffusive gradients in thin films (o-DGT) passive samplers for perfluorinated alkyl acids in water

Po Wang et al.

Summary: The study evaluated the use of o-DGT for monitoring PFAS in water, finding that in-situ sampling rates can be predicted using measured diffusion coefficients. The configurations of o-DGT tested provide a cost-effective monitoring tool for measuring perfluorinated alkyl acids in aquatic systems, particularly for four PFAS with reasonable correlations.

Development and Applications of Novel DGT Passive Samplers for Measuring 12 Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances in Natural Waters and Wastewaters

Zhou Fang et al.

Summary: This study developed a new passive sampling method for monitoring various PFASs in water, which showed stable performance under different environmental conditions and can be widely applied in different water bodies. Additionally, diffusion coefficients of 12 PFASs were measured, linear correlations were established, providing a foundation for future research.
