Aluminum material flow analysis for production, consumption, and trade in China from 2008 to 2017

The results indicated an increasing trend in aluminum consumption in China initially, followed by a gradual decrease. Additionally, the research highlighted the importance of reducing material loss during the processing of raw materials, particularly in the alumina production stage, to alleviate pressure on primary aluminum sources.
