Based on the utilization of jarosite residue: The lithium storage performance of α-Fe2O3 materials synthesized from different iron solution systems

Jinhuan Yao et al.

Summary: In this study, alpha-Fe2O3 electrode materials were synthesized using three kinds of iron simulation solution systems. The microstructure and lithium storage performance of the materials were systematically studied. Results showed that samples prepared from sulfate solutions exhibited high lithium storage activity but experienced capacity fluctuation, while samples from FeCl3 solution demonstrated better cycling stability.

Facile and efficient synthesis of binary FeOOH/Fe2O3 composite as a high-performance anode material for lithium-ion batteries

Xiuying Jin et al.

Summary: In this study, a binary FeOOH/Fe2O3 composite was synthesized via a hydrothermal method, exhibiting outstanding high-rate capability and long-term cycling stability. Electrochemical analysis showed that the binary composite has lower electrochemical reaction resistance and exhibits certain pseudocapacitive behavior. Additionally, ex-situ SEM observations revealed the composite's good structural integrity.
