Energy recovery mechanism of air injection in higher methane cut reservoir

Noor Muhammad et al.

Summary: New research shows that methane emissions contribute 25 percent more to global warming than previously estimated. Methane is a key precursor gas for tropospheric ozone, which is a dangerous air pollutant. The study of methane cut reservoirs is essential due to its role as an energy source. The injection of air into high methane-cut reservoirs can extract additional energy, but safety precautions are necessary due to the potential for corrosion or explosion.

Problem of p- and SV-waves reflection and transmission during two media under three thermoelastic theories and electromagnetic field with and without gravity

S. M. Abo-Dahab et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the reflection and refraction of primary and shear waves in solid-liquid media under three thermoelastic theories, including initial stress and gravity. The study focuses on the behavior of thermoelastic waves at interfaces between different media with initial stress and magnetic fields, considering various thermoelastic theories. Results show the reflection and refraction coefficients as functions of angle of incidence, initial stress, electromagnetic field, and gravity, with special cases of presence or absence of initial stress or gravity being examined. Numerical calculations of reflection and refraction coefficients ratios for incident waves are presented to illustrate the phenomenon.

Prospects of measuring Rb in hadronic Z decays at the CEPC

B. Li et al.

Summary: With an integrated luminosity of 45 ab-1 at s=91.2 GeV, more than 1012 Z bosons will be produced at the CEPC, allowing for precise study of Z boson physics. The study in this paper focuses on measuring the relative partial width Rb of Z boson into b quarks using the double-tagging method, demonstrating good performance and successful verification through a closure test. Systematic errors related to b-tagging efficiencies and hemisphere correlation are investigated and studied preliminarily.
