Entropy generation on EMHD Darcy-Forchheimer flow of Carreau hybrid nanofluid over a permeable rotating disk with radiation and heat generation: Homotopy perturbation solution

Gunisetty Ramasekhar et al.

Summary: This article explores the entropy generation of the Carreau hybrid nanofluid in a permeable rotating disk, considering factors such as thermal radiation, heat generation, and viscous dissipation. The homotopy perturbation method is employed to obtain precise and dependable results. The study reveals that higher values of the Weissenberg number and thermal radiation parameter lead to increased entropy generation, while the porosity parameter has the opposite effect on the velocity profile.

Irreversibility analysis of hybrid nanofluid flow over a rotating disk: Effect of thermal radiation and magnetic field

Mahesh Kumar et al.

Summary: This study numerically examines the thermally radiative incompressible flow of hybrid nanofluid on a rotating disk under the influence of an external magnetic field, analyzing the transport of heat qualitatively and quantitatively. The results show that higher magnetic parameters and slip factors lead to decreased radial and tangential velocities, while increasing fractional volume decreases fluid velocity and increasing magnetic and radiation parameters lead to thicker thermal boundary layers and higher fluid temperatures. The research suggests that the developed modeling framework can effectively analyze fluid flow and heat transfer in turbomachinery and high-end heat transfer applications.

Summary: This research investigates the behavior of 3D flow of nanofluid consisting of copper and aluminium oxide nanoparticles and emphasizes the significance of solid particles in enhancing the thermal conductivity of nanofluid. The study confirms a higher uptake of Cu-water and Al2O3-water nanofluids compared to soluble nanomaterials. The research examines incompressible viscous nanofluid flow and explores the influence of homogeneous and heterogeneous reactions, as well as entropy generation. The findings suggest that the curvature parameter and nanoparticle volume fraction have a positive correlation with velocity profile but a negative correlation with temperature profile.
