Removal of copper (II) ions by eco-friendly raw eggshells and nano-sized eggshells: a comparative study

Comparative study of natural and modified Abies bornmulleriana cones in the removal of copper (II) ions

The optimal conditions for copper removal were determined, and the biosorption data were well fitted to kinetic and isotherm models. The study also revealed the outstanding structural characteristics and high surface functional group availability of the biosorbent. Rose damascena leaves showed a higher adsorption capacity compared to immobilized ones. The main mechanism of interaction between the biosorbent and copper ions was determined to be both ion exchange and hydrogen bond formation.

Adsorption of heavy metal ions via apple waste low-cost adsorbent: Characterization and performance

Adsorption Study of Cu2+ Ions from Aqueous Solutions by Bael Flowers (Aegle marmelos)

Thermodynamic studies suggested the exothermic and spontaneous nature of the adsorption process, while SEM and FTIR analysis revealed the structural characteristics and functional groups present in the adsorbent.
