Monoclinicα-NaVOPO4as cathode materials for sodium-ions batteries: Experimental andDFTinvestigation

El abadila Iffer et al.

Summary: The monoclinic alpha-NaVOPO(4) was synthesized using sol-gel method, and its poor electrochemical activity was attributed to its low intrinsic electronic conductivity. The material exhibits high voltage, good ionic conductivity and stability, but shows poor performance due to the large charge transfer resistance. Experimental and theoretical results explain the origin of this behavior, with detailed magnetic study also reported in this paper.
