This letter proposed a coupled resonant inductor structure for CLLC bidirectional converter, which can effectively reduce the number and volume of magnetic components and the oscillation caused by parasitic parameters. An optimized current detection method based on magnetic element voltage detection is also proposed to avoid the use of bulky and costly current sensors. Synchronous rectification is realized with the detection to improve efficiency.
The effectiveness is verified by a 3 kW CLLC converter.
