Epithelial Sodium Channel δ Subunit Is Expressed in Human Arteries and Has Potential Association With Hypertension

Puja Paudel et al.

Summary: This study demonstrates for the first time the expression and function of vascular epithelial sodium channel (ENaC) in human arteries and its association with hypertension. Patch-clamp electrophysiology identified multiple ENaC channel conductance in endothelial cells isolated from internal mammary artery (IMA).
