The fragility and reverse fragility indices of proximal humerus fracture randomized controlled trials: a systematic review

Peter William Kyriakides et al.

Summary: The literature on proximal humerus fracture (PHF) management shows high fragility index and reverse fragility index, indicating a high number of fragile results, especially in comparing complication rates and reoperation rates. Studies in PHF are relatively more fragile and underpowered compared to other subspecialties. Standardized reporting of fragility index, fragility quotient, and reverse fragility index can assist readers to reliably draw conclusions based on the fragility of outcome measures.
