MACLAURIN SERIES METHOD FOR FRACTAL DIFFERENTIAL-DIFFERENCE MODELS ARISING IN COUPLED NONLINEAR OPTICAL WAVEGUIDES

Yasir Khan

Summary: Fractal Calculus is used to study waves, especially the complex ones that are difficult to model accurately. The Fractal representation of waves helps in understanding these complex wave phenomena better. The Maclaurin series method proposed in this paper, MSM, allows for obtaining exact and approximate solutions for fractal nonlinear differential-difference models generated by coupled nonlinear optical waveguides. The simplicity and reduced calculation of this method make it a favorable choice when compared to existing approximate methods.

A novel finite difference-spectral method for fractal mobile/immobiletransport model based on Caputo-Fabrizio derivative

Mojtaba Fardi et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a finite difference-spectral method to handle a mobile/immobile fractal transport model formulated with the concept of a fractional derivative of Caputo-Fabrizio. A finite difference scheme is used in temporal space to achieve a semi-discrete configuration, whereas a Legendre-spectral approach proposes for spatial discretization. The error calculation of the new procedure is calculated based on the theoretical foundation of the current technique, with various numerical examples presented to assess feasibility and applicability in terms of convergence ratio and accuracy.

Emile F. Doungmo Goufo et al.

Summary: The processes of auto-duplication and auto-replication play a significant role in chaos and fractal theories, allowing for the reproduction of systems while conserving their initial properties. Researchers utilize concepts like Julia's process and fractal-fractional operator to create self-replicating systems, holding potential interest for scientists and engineers.
