Factors influencing intention to adopt ICT among intensive shrimp farmers

Summary: This study examined factors affecting farmers' adoption of aquaculture information and communication technologies (ICT) in intensive shrimp production. Results showed that farmers who perceive ICT as useful and are influenced by peers are more likely to adopt aquaculture technologies. Confidence in learning new technology also plays a key role in adoption.

Effect of bovine lactoferricin on the growth performance, digestive capacity, immune responses and disease resistance in Pacific white shrimp, Penaeus vannamei

Summary: The present study found that dietary supplementation with bovine lactoferricin significantly improved the growth performance and digestive capacity of Penaeus vannamei shrimp, as well as enhancing their immune responses. Higher dosage of bovine lactoferricin showed better resistance against Vibrio parahaemolyticus, but it may have a negative impact on the shrimp's growth performance.
