Anti-kindling effect of Ginkgo biloba leaf extract and L-carnitine in the pentylenetetrazol model of epilepsy

Sesamol Loaded Albumin Nanoparticles: A Boosted Protective Property in Animal Models of Oxidative Stress

Summary: In this study, sesamol-loaded albumin nanoparticles showed a better protective effect against oxidative stress induced by anthracyclines. The nanoparticles were prepared using the desolvation technique and freeze-dried with trehalose as a cryoprotectant. The optimized nanoparticles had a spherical shape, smaller particle diameter, longer half-life, and mean residence time compared to the free drug. In vivo experiments demonstrated that the sesamol-loaded albumin nanoparticles significantly ameliorated biochemical markers and histopathological changes.
