Experimental studies on the removal of heavy metal ion concentration using sugarcane bagasse in batch adsorption process

V Yogeshwaran et al.

Summary: This study investigated the use of sugarcane bagasse as an adsorbent for the removal of toxic heavy metal ions from aqueous solutions. The results showed high adsorption efficiency under specific conditions. The Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models provided good fitting for the batch adsorption experiments, with the pseudo-second-order model showing good agreement with kinetic data.
