Synthesis of ternary-based visible light nano-photocatalyst for decontamination of organic dyes-loaded wastewater

Summary: The ternary ferrites-based visible light photocatalyst Fe2Zn0.5Cu0.5O4-CM (CZF-CM) prepared by co-precipitation method showed high efficiency in degrading dye-loaded wastewater. Analysis of the nanoparticles' crystallite size, elemental composition and morphology indicated their effectiveness in environmental remediation. The study also compared the photocatalytic efficiency of ternary ferrites with binary ferrites, highlighting the superior performance of the former in wastewater treatment processes.
