The carbon material shows promising results as an electrode material for lithium-sulfur batteries, effectively tackling the capacity fading issue due to the insulating nature of sulfur electrodes. It also demonstrates excellent electrochemical performance and high coulombic efficiency. Additionally, the carbon material exhibits outstanding specific capacitance when used as electrode material for supercapacitors. The cytotoxicity of the carbon material is also analyzed and shows potential for biomedical applications.
