Botulinum toxin type-A versus 5-fluorouracil in the treatment of plaque psoriasis: Comparative study

Summary: The study found that intradermal Botulinum toxin (BTX) is a novel, safe, single injection, and effective therapy for plaque psoriasis. Comparative results showed no significant difference in treatment efficacy between BTX and 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), with similar recurrence rates on both sides.
