Enhanced Masses on Contrast-Enhanced Breast: Differentiation Using a Combination of Dynamic Contrast-EnhancedMRIand Quantitative Evaluation with SyntheticMRI

Megumi Matsuda et al.

Summary: The study evaluated the diagnostic value of combining DCE-MRI and synthetic MRI in differentiating between benign and malignant breast masses, with the findings showing that the T(1) relaxation time acquired by synthetic MRI was a significant quantitative value for differentiation. The AUC for the combination of DCE-MRI + Synthetic MRI was significantly higher than that of DCE-MRI or synthetic MRI alone, especially for category 4 masses.

Improved discrimination of molecular subtypes in invasive breast cancer: Comparison of multiple quantitative parameters from breast MRI

Siyao Du et al.

Summary: This study compared multiple quantitative parameters from breast MRI with synthetic MRI to distinguish molecular subtypes of invasive breast cancer. The results showed significant differences in quantitative parameters among different molecular markers and subtypes, and combining parameters improved the diagnostic efficiency for separating the luminal A subtype. The application of synthetic MRI enriched quantitative descriptors from breast MRI.
