Shadow and weak deflection angle of extended uncertainty principle black hole surrounded with dark matter

Reggie C. Pantig et al.

Shadow and deflection angle of charged rotating black hole surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter

Farruh Atamurotov et al.

Summary: We analyzed the shadow of a charged rotating black hole in the presence of perfect fluid dark matter and found that the size and shape of the shadow are affected by the dark matter parameter, charge, and rotation parameter. Additionally, we investigated the influence of these parameters on effective potential and energy emission, comparing the results to the non-rotating case in general relativity. We also explored the effect of dark matter on the deflection angle and size of Einstein rings.

Geometrization of light bending and its application to SdS w spacetime

Zhen Zhang

Summary: The mysterious dark energy remains one of the greatest puzzles of modern science, and its spacetime effects can be locally described by the SdS( w ) metric. Understanding these local effects exactly is an essential step toward the direct probe of dark energy. Through mathematical and conceptual analysis, it has been proven that dark energy can exert a repulsive dark force on astrophysical scales, which is different from the Newtonian attraction of both visible and dark matter.

Nonlinear electrodynamics effects on the black hole shadow, deflection angle, quasinormal modes and greybody factors

M. Okyay et al.

Summary: In this paper, the effects of nonlinear electrodynamics (NED) on non-rotating black holes are discussed, including various observable and physical properties. It is found that the NED black hole is always surrounded by an event horizon and any magnetic charge is permissible. The black hole gets colder with increasing charge, and the observed shadow radius is strongly affected by the magnetic charge parameter P. The introduction of charge steepens the greybody factor of the black hole.

Gravitational weak lensing of Schwarzschild-like black hole in presence of plasma

Farruh Atamurotov et al.

Summary: The gravitational weak lensing effect around a Schwarzschild-like black hole in the presence of a plasma medium has been extensively investigated. The results indicate that the parameter a has a noticeable impact on the deflection angle of light rays in the Schwarzschild-like spacetime. As the parameter a increases, the deflection angle of photons decreases, while the effect of plasma on the deflection angle is opposite. The total magnification of the image source due to gravitational lensing, considering the coupling parameter a in the presence of plasma around the black hole, has also been studied.

Summary: The optical and energetic properties of black holes in Einstein-AEther gravity are investigated in this paper. The motion and effective potential of massive and massless particles under the influence of Einstein-AEther gravity parameters are studied. The horizon structure, photon orbits, and Innermost Stable Circular Orbit (ISCO) radius of mass particles around the black hole are obtained. Gravitational weak lensing and the deflection angle of light rays in a plasma environment are also examined. The energy extraction from black holes in Einstein-AEther gravity is explored using the BSW effect, and the expression for the center mass energy is derived.

Gravitational weak lensing by black hole in Horndeski gravity in presence of plasma

Farruh Atamurotov et al.

Summary: We have studied the effect of both uniformly and non-uniformly distributed plasma on the gravitational lensing around a static black hole in Horndeski gravity. It is observed that the parameter q in Horndeski gravity plays an important role in increasing the deflection angle of light compared to that in a standard Schwarzschild black hole environment. Additionally, the influence of a uniform plasma medium is found to be more efficient in the gravitational lensing phenomena in the environment of a static black hole in Horndeski gravity.

Dark matter effect on the weak deflection angle by black holes at the center of Milky Way and M87 galaxies

Reggie C. Pantig et al.

Summary: In this paper, the effect of dark matter on the weak deflection angle by black holes at the galactic center is investigated. Three known dark matter density profiles are considered and the positional angles are measured using the Ishihara et al. method. The emergence of apparent divergent terms on the dark matter profiles is found, but they vanish when the distance from the black hole is large. The weak deflection angle varies interestingly with the impact parameter, providing insights into the interaction between dark matter and null particles.
