Behavior and mechanism of graphene oxide-tris(4-aminophenyl) amine composites in adsorption of rare earth elements

Xiaoru Zhao et al.

Summary: Three-dimensional graphene oxide-tris(4-aminophenyl)amine (GO-TAPAx:y) composites with different GO-to-TAPA mass ratios were prepared and characterized for their adsorption capacities of rare earth elements (REEs). The results indicate that the introduction of specific molecules enhances the adsorption ability of the composites, making them feasible for the enrichment of REE ions in real samples.

Synthesis of magnetic carboxymethyl cellulose/graphene oxide nanocomposites for adsorption of copper from aqueous solution

Ying Chen et al.

Summary: In this study, a green and high-efficiency adsorbent was synthesized and characterized. The adsorption properties of the composite material towards Cu(2+) were investigated, showing a high adsorption capacity and rate under certain conditions. The adsorption process was found to be consistent with pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Langmuir model, and the overall process was spontaneous and endothermic.
