This paper argues that many organizations continue to work with individuals or entities that engage in known and remediable structural discrimination, which contributes significantly to inequities in the fields of science and medicine. The authors urge organizations to leverage their relationships and demand progress from their collaborators.
Many organizations persist in working with others that engage in known, remediable structural discrimina-tion. We name this practice interorganizational structural discrimination (ISD) and argue it is a pivotal contrib-utor to inequities in science and medicine.
