Localized versus 360° intraoperative laser retinopexy in cases of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment with mild-to-moderate grade proliferative vitreoretinopathy

Pasquale Loiudice et al.

Summary: In this study, there was no significant difference in the reattachment rate and visual outcomes between localized and 360 degrees laser retinopexy in cases of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment treated with pars plana vitrectomy and air tamponade. The localized laser was found to be as effective as the 360 degrees laser with potential advantages in terms of invasiveness reduction, lower risk of complications, and time saving.

Evaluation of pupil responses and anterior chamber parameters in overactive bladder syndrome before and after antimuscarinic treatment

Esat Yetkin et al.

Summary: This study evaluated the static and dynamic pupillometric responses and anterior chamber parameters in overactive bladder patients before and after solifenacin succinate treatment. Results showed that patients had pupil abnormalities before treatment, and one month of treatment led to significantly larger pupil diameters under low illumination conditions, as well as changes in dynamic pupillometric responses.

CONSORT extension for the reporting of randomised controlled trials conducted using cohorts and routinely collected data (CONSORT-ROUTINE): checklist with explanation and elaboration

Linda Kwakkenbos et al.

Summary: Randomised controlled trials are increasingly conducted using cohorts or routinely collected data, and the CONSORT has introduced an extension to improve reporting quality in the long term. The extension, developed through a sequential approach including a Delphi survey, consensus meeting, and checklist piloting, includes modified items from the CONSORT 2010 statement and new items. Reporting items with explanations and examples are provided to highlight specific considerations in trials conducted using cohorts or routinely collected data.
