Prostate cancer incidence and survival in relation to prostate cancer as second cancer in relatives

Guoqiao Zheng et al.

Summary: Our study found that the risk of prostate cancer differs based on the order of primary PC diagnosed in first-degree relatives. The risk of PC is higher in men with a family history of PCa-1 compared to those with a family history of PCa-2. Additionally, PC patients with a family history of PCa-2 were more likely to be diagnosed at a later stage and less likely to be detected by screening.
