A New Chemistry-Climate Model GRIMs-CCM: Model Evaluation of Interactive Chemistry-Meteorology Simulations

Seungun Lee et al.

Summary: This research introduces a new chemistry-climate model that combines a chemical transport model and a general circulation model to study the interactions and changes in chemistry and climate. The model is able to accurately reproduce the spatial distributions of aerosols and ozone, as well as simulate the temporal and spatial variations of aerosols, with some biases in soil dust aerosols.

Influence of Near Real-Time Green Vegetation Fraction Data on Numerical Weather Prediction by WRF over North China

Bing Lu et al.

Summary: By comparing different GVF datasets, the study found that using near real-time (NRT) GVF dataset can significantly reduce temperature forecast errors, especially in the morning. Real-time GVF data can provide a more realistic representation of vegetation state, thereby improving short-term weather forecast accuracy in arid and semiarid regions of North China.
