Efficient loading of nano Mn particles on calcined laterite soil (Lt-nMn) for higher removal of As(III) ions from groundwater: adsorption and eco-scale analysis

Summary: The occurrence of arsenic in groundwater is a global concern. Nano-based adsorption techniques are being studied for removing arsenic ions, although synthesizing nano-adsorbents is expensive. This study used affordable laterite soil as a base material for nano coating, resulting in effective removal of As(III). The synthesized nano-sized manganese particles coated on calcined laterite showed good adsorption properties.
