Primary and pollen-associated hazelnut allergy in school-aged children in Germany: A birth cohort study

Summary: This study investigated hazelnut allergy and pollen-related allergy among 1570 school-aged children in Berlin. The results showed that while hazelnut allergic symptoms were less common, sensitization to hazelnut was more widespread, especially among children with co-sensitization to hazelnut and birch-pollen.
