Rapidly Separating Earthworm from Vermicompost Using Two-Step Technology

Summary: This study aimed to develop a rapid and highly efficient two-step technology for separating earthworm from large-scale vermicompost. Through experiments, optimal parameters for the Earthworm-Vermicompost Rolling Separator (EVRS) were determined, achieving a high separation efficiency. The developed technology and separator is expected to be rapid, consume less energy, highly efficient, and applicable in vermicomposting industry.
