Transport in Twisted Crystalline Charge Transfer Complexes

Yongfan Yang et al.

Summary: The study shows that charge transfer complex crystals are more prone to twisting, which significantly affects charge transport. Twisted crystals exhibit significantly higher mobilities compared to straight crystals. Computational analysis based on density functional theory reveals a slight increase in the calculated mobilities of twisted crystals.

Quantitative Prediction of the Electro-Mechanical Response in Organic Crystals

Alessandro Landi et al.

Summary: This study presents a new methodology to accurately predict the effects of external deformation on the charge transport properties of organic semiconductors. By investigating three prototypical materials, it was found that there is an order of magnitude difference in the intrinsic electro-mechanical response among organic semiconductors.
