Quantum dot bead-based competitive immunochromatographic assay for enterotoxin aureus A detection in pasteurized milk

Ping Chen et al.

Summary: A novel immunochromatographic assay was developed using highly luminescent quantum dot beads as signal amplification probe for the rapid and sensitive determination of Staphylococcal enterotoxin A (SEA) in pasteurized milk. The assay exhibited high sensitivity, good dynamic linearity, and selectivity, making it a powerful tool for the quantitative detection of SEA contamination in real milk samples.

Development of a HPLC Fluorescence Method for Determining Efficacy of Milk Pasteurization

Meena R. Kumari et al.

Summary: A new HPLC method with fluorescence detector was developed to quantify ALP enzyme activity in pasteurized milk. The method showed high specificity, good linearity, low limits of detection and quantification, accuracy, and precision. Comparative evaluation demonstrated that this HPLC method can detect very low levels of ALP activity and raw milk contamination, offering potential enhancement to quality assurance standards in the dairy industry.

Experimental Investigation on Mechanical Properties of Carbon Nanotube-Reinforced Epoxy Composites for Automobile Application

Anjibabu Merneedi et al.

Summary: Carbon nanotubes are considered a superior form of carbon with excellent mechanical and chemical properties, making them ideal for producing high-strength fibers in composite applications. They can meet the strength requirements of nonstructural and structural components in various industries, thanks to their light weight and high strength-to-weight ratio. Ongoing research explores the potential of using carbon nanotubes in composite materials, with variations in the percentage of CNT used to optimize mechanical properties.
